Harley Gallery Open Exhibition

HARLEY
GALLERY OPEN EXHIBITION

CALL FOR
ENTRIES

The
Harley Gallery, Welbeck, is an award winning centre for art and craft, nestled
in the woodland in rural North Nottinghamshire. We’ve shown work by David
Hockney, Euan Uglow, Peter Blake and Grayson Perry – and now we’re giving you
the chance to have your work exhibited here, too.

You are
invited to enter the first ever Harley Open Exhibition, 7 January – 5 February
2012, on the theme ‘H is for…’ .

Whether
you make work in HB pencil, about happy memories or like to paint pictures of houseboats,
we want to see your wall based art!

Lisa Gee, Harley Gallery Director, says

‘We’re
very excited to see entries from all
artists – from those with years of experience and superb skill,  to those that are brand new to art and just
starting to experiment. We know there are a lot of talented artists out there
and this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase their work.’

Entries
for the ‘H is for’ Harley Open will be selected by our judging panel: Cultural
Olympiad artist for the East Midlands Shauna Richardson, curator at Nottingham
Contemporary Abi Spinks, owner of Gallery Top Keith Logan, and a Harley Gallery

Harley Prize £750 – Sponsored by The Harley Foundation

The Judges Prize £250 – Sponsored by The Welbeck Estates Company
